Zhang Xingwang, Vice Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China, Ni Hua, Interim Representative of FAO in China, and Madsen, a WHO official, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. CCPR Chairman Shan Weili presided over the meeting.

The meeting highly commended the great achievements of the Codex Alimentarius Commission over the past 60 years in protecting the health and safety of global consumers, maintaining the fairness of international food trade, and continuously promoting the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The meeting believes that the Chinese government has always attached great importance to food security and has taken a series of major measures in recent years, achieving significant achievements.
